A. Receiving Reiki from a practitioner is a simple process. As a client you remain fully clothed lying on a treatment table. The practitioner gently lays their hands on your body in a series of hand positions. On the head, torso, and legs, each hand position is held for several moments during which energy (called chi) is drawn through the practitioner and passed onto you through their palms and the healing begins, producing a state of balance and tranquillity.

A. Deep relaxation, heat form the practitioners hands, perhaps tingling, floating feeling or sinking. We are all individuals and feel different things but be assured whatever you feel during your treatment, Reiki is giving you what you need.

A. One treatment will be beneficial bringing a sense of calm and peacefulness and producing some healing results. However for more long term benefits it is recommended to have 3 sessions with approximately 7 – 10 days interval to build up the reiki within you. After the initial 3 sessions a lot of people have regular Reiki treatments once a month or whenever they require them.
