Oncology massage is different to a regular massage – lighter pressure is used, depending on what you can tolerate on the day. The treatment is completely safe right from diagnosis, through treatment and into recovery and is totally tailored to your specific needs on the day. Don’t worry if you’re post surgery either, the treatment can still go ahead if you’re feeling up to it, we can position you in any way comfortable for you on the bed.
This treatment is all about positive touch and calming the nervous system. Quite often with Oncology patients, they’re poked and prodded with needles, in and out of scans and not receiving the positive touch that they desperately need – that’s where Oncology massage comes in. It’s a soothing, gentle touch, delivered with love and compassion, which aims to reconnect you with your body.
